Our matchleaser website (http://www.otb-server.de) has got a login field. It uses an otb forum account, so a lot of players can directly login without register anything new.


All logged in users can preset an individual join password, login password, all settings and don't need to enter the bot check. They can also show or hide each setting on the main site instead of the default shown settings.


The current settings are timelimit, fraglimit, elim, flagcapendsround, flagmustbeatbase, PaintGrens, SmokeGrens, sv_gravity, ffire, observerblackout, chasecamonly, guntemp_inc, guntemp_dec, gren_explodeonimpact and ball_speed.
Post it here or pm me, if you want to change another setting.

Add a command to sticky a player in one team. The autobalance shouldn't change him and he should only be able to change to obs and back to his old team. An admin should be able to unsticky or forcejoin him.

Can you add a new message, if i try to turn off the jail mode, while it is forced by a map? The actual message "Jail toggle OFF" is wrong there.

It's sometimes hard to read the chat messages on a full server with much game messages.


Here is an idea how it can work:
Add tabs to the console. So one tab can have all messages and another can only have the chat messages. It can be extended, if the features 10250 (private player chat) and/or 10054 (ingame irc chat - could be done in a new tab maybe forced on the right side) are implemented. It should be much easier to communicate with each other.

Add a central repository for mapshots, where the game can download it if a client doesn't have the file.

A dedicated server should sent an e-mail (address is already in the serverconfig) if there is an error (=crash).

Some paint splats are black / not colored.

I can get the actual maprotation, if i type "maplist" into the console. The sorting there isn't correct.

1. It is sorted by points, but the actual map (oth in the screenshot) has 0 points and is mid in the maplist. It should be at the end.

2. If some maps have the same count of points, they are not sorted alphabetical.

The floodprotect counter can be negative, so the player can't chat anymore.

Todo:
- Admin: Enable the floodprotect setting.
- Player: Write some words, that the protection is active for you and you will see the "Cannot talk for 10 more seconds" text.
- Player: Write something more, that you can see the counter goes down.
- Admin: Disable the floodprotect setting.
- Player: Write something, that you can see the counter goes down. Now, after "Cannot talk for 0 more seconds", it goes to -1, -2, -3,... You have this message always now and you can't chat anymore.

This is from the build 31 thread (i think its better to have it in an own thread):

Atm the autobalance can switch players after a map. In the time, where it shows the scoreboard (between timelimit/fraglimit reached and new map starts loading).
It doesn't make much sense to switch the team after a map, so i would prefer jitspoe's solution: Disable all team switching at that point.
What is with new connected players? Should they join a team or be obs? I would prefer obs.

Add a server option that disables the autobalance or the team switching (join command) or both in the last 120 seconds of a game. The forcejoin command should work all the time.

Maybe add a second option, where a serveradmin can change the time. But 120 seconds are good in my opinion, so thats not very important.

A func_plat isn't moving anymore, if a flag stands on it.

To get this, grab a flag and use a func_plat (elevator on pbcup_renoir for example). Now another player must kill you, while you are on the func_plat (it doesn't matter, if it is actually moving or not). The func_plat will still be in the same position until the flag is away.

If i use the quote function here in the forum to get a quote into the quick reply, the forum sets the focus not at the end. It is set it mostly between the t and the e from the closing quote bbcode. Sometimes it will be set somewhere at the end of the quote.

So i can't make multiple quotes very fast. The next quote will be insert at the position from the focus => mid in the closing bbcode, that the quote before is damaged. I have to click behind the closing quote bbcode manually after each quote.

Add a server log entry like "mapname.ent file found and loaded." and for official maps/ents "mapname.ent file (official) found and loaded." if a map use an ent file.
