Title: Extreme Lag!

Hi havin problem with lag and dont know why! It was fine on my other laptop but keeps jamming on this one. Internet isnt slow, computer is powerful whats wrong?! Im guessing it must be my Norton anti virus thing but how do i stop it?? Thanks, Michael. ;D

ur cpu might be low.. try shuting down programs that you don't need, that might help and diasble firewalls or something

To see if it's network or framerate lag, type the following in the console:
netgraph 1
cl_drawfps 1

If your framerate is really low, then it's your computer.  If you're getting spikes and black bars on the netgraph, then it's your network connection.  Are you using wireless?  That often causes lag.

so if i am using wireless and i have the same problem as numba1spikey, what can i do?
