Title: Midnight ][ Reflective water question
Post by: KnacK on October 29, 2007, 09:08:33 AM
I have reflcetive water disabled in my config, but when I play Midnight ][ and play aroudn in the jail, the water at the M][ logo is reflective.  Also, when you look at the plants straight on, they're dark, but looking at then via the reflective water, they're very bright.

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Especially the reflective water issue.

Thanks

Haha, midnight2 was made before reflective water was even implemented.  jitspoe is playing tricks on you in this map.  Basically he vertically mirrored the scenery in that area to give a reflective water effect.  Then he manually flipped all the textures so that they look like a reflection.  Go in noclip and see for yourself.

More like KnacK found 10 old articles to bump up just for the opportunity to call you dyslexic.

Whats wrong with reflective water Knack?
It just adds more detail, and makes the game more realistic.
