Just a couple more days! I've updated the <a href="http://www.planetquake.com/digitalpaint/events/dpcon2005.html">DPCon 2005</a> info page with more detailed directions to Atlantis Gaming Center. Also, it looks like Calrathan is going to be snagging some EA games for prizes. The trophies came in yesterday, and the shirts are being delivered Friday. I'm still working on getting the player model in a usable state, but it's almost there. Lots of last minute stuff, but it's going to rock. Also, bring your Magic the Gathering and other cards of that nature if you're into trading and whatnot. The new format uses a skeletal system similar to current-gen games like Half-Life 2 and DooM 3. We're also going to be remaking all of the models with much higher polygon counts. 3dblu is helping us out with a new player model. If you want to see its progress and/or post some <i>constructive</i> criticisms, visit <a href="http://dpball.com/forums/index.php?topic=891.0">this thread</a>. Sounds like the javascript file didn't load: http://www.planetquake.com/digitalpaint/dplayout_v3.js
What browser are you using? Is it blocking javascript from external sources?
-
update java
-
It's not java. It's javascript. Two completely different things.
-
its on both ie and fire fox. it worked fine for a long time then about 1 week ago or so "that when i saw it" it started looking like that.
-
Have you installed any adblock software?
-
nope. it was working fine did not do anything then it stoped working. and its funny because i still get the top banner add.
-
the top banner add is the one that says digital paint in red letters and it has a menu?
well i never get that banner it has only appeared like 5 times.
-
Can you post a screenshot of what it looks like?
Also, to see what errors you got in mozilla/firefox, go to the address bar and type "javascript:"
-
here is a screenshot of how the site looks in my computer.
-
Do you have javascript disabled? And why do you keep resizing the pictures you post -- they look all funky.
-
i dont know if i have the javascript disabled, how do i find out?
and i resized the screenshot because when i looked at it the letters where all messed up and couldnt read them ;)
-
lol ok well here is what i see taken by my digi cam.
"photo removed for space on hd"
and my forum page looks just like his

i go to tools. i have internet options so i click that one. but i dont see a web feature one.
-
Does it say "You must have javascript enabled to view this page" or something similar at the bottom?
Actually, since the ad came through, it looks like javascript is working. I don't know why the javascript for the actual page isn't coming through unless you've got some kind of ad blocking software installed (which would have to be pretty bad software if it blocks everything but the ad, lol).
What happens if you load up a different page, like the files page? http://www.planetquake.com/digitalpaint/files.html
-
ooo my web filter blocks it out says "The web site you entered is invalid or does not exist." do you think it could be my web filter? let me try somthing out
-
That's probably it. You can't access any of the stuff on planetquake, which includes all the images, javascript, and css, so all you see is plain text.
-
i will allow planetquake. i know thats what it is now when i turn the filter off it works fine. but i have had this filter for about a year now and it just started messing with the site the other day. but when i try going to planetquake it blocked it out.
