Title: POST YOUR FIRST MAP EVER
Post by: cusoman on December 17, 2007, 04:39:17 PM: Well, i was talking to Sk89q about the first maps we ever made, and decided to make the "Post Your First Map ever thread" Perhaps this goes in other stuff, but it does have to do with mapping. Here are the rules:

post a map!!!
It doesnt have to be your first, but one of your earliest. I will edit this post with a zip file of my second map ever that was a koth map. Its pretty bad, but whatever. I want to see how other peoples first maps were.

My first released map is my first "map." I've messed around in BSP a bit before releasing it. Trying out features of the program and getting a feel for it. But nothing worth posting, even if I did have it off my old laptop hard drive.

Post by: cusoman on December 18, 2007, 08:32:13 PM: Well, i played both lunarpgp and Hedge and I must that although both are original, hedge seemed alot more playable in the paintball 2 style than lunar. This is mostly because you can get up on the sides of reed's map and I am a major fan of high ledges/balconies. Really though, those are both incredible, but my question for Dagless is, How do you make a map change the gravity of the server? ;D

in the worldspawn just set the key 'gravity' to your desired value - normal is 800 I believe.
