Here's how this is going to work. Rather than having one one feature vote thread, each feature request or bug report will need its own thread. The first post in that thread needs to clearly state exactly what you want implemented. Please only include one feature request per thread, and only request things you really want implemented.
Bad:
New guns!
You should put some new guns in the game!
Very ambiguous - Add more guns? If so, which? Replace the old ones? Make new models? What?
Good:
Feature Request: Improved Weapon Models
Re-model the existing weapons to have more detail and higher-resolution textures.
Also clearly state if this is a new feature you want voted on, or just an idea you wanted to discuss. If you want it to be voted on, it will be added to the new voting system (kindly provided by sk89q) so people can vote for or against it, and the thread will be dedicated to discussion on that particular feature.
Before creating a thread, make sure that the feature hasn't already been requested. If there is already a thread clearly stating a feature request, but isn't in the voting system yet, post a reply there requesting it be added.

May just be me, but where is the vote located?

Hasn't been linked yet. I'll open it up once I get a few things added to vote on.
-
You might want to make a new subforum for organization's sake, left only for features that are in the feature vote system.

+1

I'll 2nd that.

3rd'd!
Can requests be added at will? If so, I assume you monitor the list and will remove/revise any sub-par requests?

That's basically what this forum is already, but I suppose that could be done.

I'd like bugs and feedback separate from 'new gunz, shield, grapple hook plz'. Makes it easier to rule out the stuff that's not worth reading. :3

The feature vote page is completely and utterly awesome :D
Is it going to have a main link to it somewhere so other people can find it easily?
Yeah - I'm going to keep it private to the forums for a little bit just to make sure everything is working out OK, then link it on the main menu.
-
You might want to make the login link on the feature vote have it redirect back to the feature vote after logging in. :|

I was going to suggest that, or have a link in the login page. It really annoyed me how I had to log in and then look for the page again.

Yeah, there are several tweaks that need to be made, but I have to unbury myself from eiii's post barrage first.
-
That'll take years.
Actually, I think I'm mostly done. Looks like sk89q's coming through next.
EDIT(whichIhopebumpsaswell): Looks like the link to the 'Feature vote forum' under 'Submit' just goes to the forum index.

The page no-caching is really aggressive; I can't hit back without the page needing to be reloaded.

I can. Must be your browser.
-
You're using Opera? Opera is really aggressive on caching.
-
FF2 + FF3, both :/
-
On another note, I think the feature vote needs RSS. Let me go write the script...
-
Does this thread hold the only link to the feature vote page? :P
-
Hm, actually pretty much every thread in this subforum hold the link to the feature vote page :P
-
You know what i mean :(
-
ah i see what you mean. i think the FVS link should be added to the top bar for dplogin.com (where it says Log Out | Edit Profile | Add Name etc.).
-
As do we all, but as stated before, it's best to let it undergo a little testing first:
