For the sake of all our eyes. I don't think I have to explain why.

If this is implemented, I think it should only apply to usernames and chat messages, so that server administrators could use it for their own more legitimate purposes.
-
This would be a client-side option.
-
would this disable the funname binds?
-
No, it would only OPTIONALLY change how names would be displayed.

If that's referring to me, then I mean that the client-side option would only apply to names and player messages. :|

What else would it apply to?
-
Map names, my cheap connection-less print messages, etcetera. :P

Well I made a edited file that removed the extra fonts, but not colours. Colours would have to be done in-game.. for me the fonts are the most annoying.
-
I thought someone had already made a fix for this.
-
they did. it's /ignore <number>

Actually, you can edit the image that sets the colors, too. I thing somebody already did that somewhere on the forums. Problem is, it disables ALL colors, not just the ones in names/chat text.
-
meaning mm2 stays the same color?
-
Everything does.

I'm pretty sure that was something that I had suggested before in a different thread. I think that it wouldn't be so bad if you kept the standard red/blue/purple/yellow/white colours in, then "greyscaled" all the other colours. Then the MM2 chat and splats would be left alone, and you'd only have a couple colours left in some people's names.
