Open console and write "vid_restart". (or change video drivers)

New drivers problem?
xbmap1 is crap anyway.
-
Is this the result of a new driver update? What have you changed recently?
-
I didn't install any new drivers. Unless they installed themselves, I don't think they did though, dp worked fine, then I get that when I tried playing. Beats me.
-
Does this happen every time you play now? Do other games work? What video card do you have?
-
Yeah everytime, my other games work just fine. GeForce 8800
-
I have an 8800, and no problems here.
EDIT: Just updated to the absolute latest drivers. Still works.
-
Wanna link me to those "absolute latest drivers"

Still trying to figure out what's wrong with this. I can play all the other games fine. Urban Terror/Css/Cod4/Crysis/Warsow, without any problem, it's just Dp.
-
Wow, thats cool excrement. I was my dp was like that. Keep it the same. =]

It looks trippy...
-
That doesn't help champ.
I can't play that UrT game either, I guess it's quake too. Any ideas? Anyone.
-
Has to be your drivers. Update them if you haven't already. Or maybe its them css hax.
-
Does this happen on maps that don't have water and/or dynamic lighting? Open up oddjob.bsp and do a vid_restart and let me know how it looks.
-
I just downloaded the new warsow and urban terrror, I can't play either of them either, is there anywhere where I can dl just openGL drivers? They're all updated and stuff, but the only game i can play right now is CSS.
-
Uninstall your current drivers completely and try Older drivers (http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_162.65.html) (these ones are from november) or unreleased Beta drivers (http://www.nvidia.com/Download/betadrivers.aspx?lang=en-us). Haven't read the thread, so if you already tried that... oh well. The old drivers are probably a guarenteed fix (if not the november ones than the may ones might work), but it would be better for you if the beta ones worked.
