yeah i've started health this semester and one of my assignments is to create a cover page for my binder that "describes" me and was wondering if someone with good photoshop skills would be willing to make one for me that had a skateboarding and paintball 2 theme
only requirement is to have "Billy Cole" and "Health 811-04" somewhere on the cover
doesn't have to be great as it is due Friday...
thanks to anyone who wants to help

You could just... use Word, in all honesty. :P Oh what have I not made in Word.

Skitzo, use Gimp. Just google it, its a really great photo editing/making software, better than photoshop in my opinion. I have made many a thing on Gimp, including textures, so with about 30 mins of playing I am sure you could come up with something nice. ;)

BTW: GIMP IS FREE FTW!!!
-
'Really great' is a massive overstatement. It's interface is absolutely horrible. It's one of the best free packages out there, but nowhere near any professionally developed image editing software.
Actually, for low-intensity image editing, I like Paint.NET much more. Very usable.

Here is osmething to think about:
Create agraphic of some sorts and it doesn;'t need a lot of details.
Then convert the image to ASCII art.
THAT would be different.

well seems i got it done with word... and he said mine was the best in the class :D
GO ME!
-
Told you. Word works in most of these situations. :P

Eeh, I would uses emacs or vim, but using dvorak kind of kills the layout for me. So, nano is just about the only choice.
-
Vim works fine with dvorak. The keys are based on function, not position: i for insert, a for append, etc.
-
'h' for left, 'l' for right, right? That's the bit that puts me off. ;)
-
I just use the arrow keys. :P
