I just decided to switch to the DVORAK keyboard layout, because I found an old, useless keyboard who's keys I could pry up and put back in.
It actually is a lot less finger-moving, but fairly hard to learn. Meh. I set up a hotkey so I can switch back and forth fairly easily.
Well, this has been good practice! I'm gettting better.

Don't switch the keys around -- that'll just ruin the learning process. Instead, print out a copy of the layout and tape it to the monitor. Then you will actually learn how to touch type really well and never have to look at the keyboard again.

Hmmm... I'll try that. It's actually a lot easier than I expected, to learn, that is. Some of the keys still confuse me, at times.

It's a lot easier than qwerty, that's for sure. The problem is, when you switch, it takes a while to just catch up to the speed you used to type in qwerty.

Learning DVORAK is a lot faster than QWERTY. I don't see why it's not taught more...

But with qwerty you never make that typo.

What typo? I see no typo. Stop making up stuff. Geez.

Ironic thing? It's easier to type qwerty in dvorak. :)
