They didn't give me a robe...
I think it went OK. Some of the interview groups went better than others. The had me meet with 13 12 different people, from 10:00 AM to 3:45 PM (though one guy was out because of a death in the family or something, so I think I got out just before 3:00). Usually in pairs, but a couple 1 on 1's, for 45 minutes each.

I played AA for 2-3 years and I have finally seen the light at the end of the addiction tunnel. I somewhat liked the game but after playing Crysis, AA looks horrible.

@Garret -- GRAPHICS DO NOT MAKE A GAME!!!!! Its all about game play and the overall flowing presentation. But graphics still effect your experience with the game. ;)

Not just comparing graphics but also comparing game play, menus, sounds, and above all, online play. AA is one laggy SOB compared to crysis.

The only reason I would buy Crysis is to be able to play with the Level Editor. That's it. Well, and noclip/god through SP to see how pretty it is.

By the way - I've started working. It's a nice place. Lots of benefits. Free soda all day. Free beer and snacks during the weekly meetings (not that I drink beer, but they have other fancier drinks, too). Free breakfast on Monday. I get up to 5 ubisoft games each month for $8/ea ($16 for the console games, but who cares about those. ;)). The code base is a beast, though. Seems I spend most of the time compiling.

What are you working on? (Not on the upper which-game level since that's HUEG SECRET, but what general area of the game. Networking? Graphics engine? Underlying engine? Art?)

y00tz: I wouldn't necessarily say I'm less busy. I'm getting less sleep, though. I have to be at work by 10:00 (earlier than I'm used to - sad, I know), but my body still doesn't want to go to sleep before 3am or so.
As for what I'm working on - it's weapon related. I believe I'm going to go out and shoot real guns this weekend to see how they behave.

I worked regular hours during a summer job once. I would end up falling asleep in my chair.

Yikes. I think Ubisoft is a bit large for that, and most of the studios are outside of the US.
Edit: Wow, didn't know EA had 25% of the shares. Scary. Everything Acquired.
