Title: do i need to pay to get digital paintball?

I wanted to download digital paintball, i think it's a very good game. so i click the link, and .... HEY! i see the fileplanet page, wich says that i have to subscribe to download files from fileplanet..... >:(
i'm really not going to do that.... so, do i need to subscribe?

  You don't have to pay to download this game.  They have free download servers below the paid subscription servers. Just look down the page towards the bottom a bit more.  You may have to register, but that's pretty easy, and free.

you dont even need to go on gamespy, below where you can download it there is other mirrors, use them.

Yeah tons of mirrors have been listed, but I'd like to point out that Sourceforge is where I got mine from.

I can't get to the planetquake server (I'm behind a firewall). Are there any mirrors to the new beta version? All the mirrors I find are for alpha 14 or earlier.

Is that the beta? I thought that was alpha... Sorry, I should have said in my earlier post alpha 15 or earlier...
