hey boys, just a short question..hopefully someone can help me out. In the past week or so everytime i join a server it tells me that my nocheat thingamajig is too old and i must update it...where do i get this update?

(be able to add bots, play online ect)

Puma,  Quake 2 didnt come with with bot support whick is probably why Jistpoe didnt include in the first place but still bot would be nice for people with kak modems(im on a crappy 56k but still very little lag) I stopped playing quake 2 on my pc over a year ago but played it and DP at a friends house over a LAN (6 PCs in total) but when i heard of DP independance i got it d/l and here I am again.

Jitspoe do you have any records of a djhicky in the forums??

Ya, but you can just add some icebots... i always play with icebots using Q2 Max.

k i downloaded the new version...i've extracted in my q2 folder (not q2/paintball), i try to connect to a server..it still tells me i need to update it and i can't get in game, it just closes it. anyone have any ideas or tips? i tried the standalone version as well but meh, i'm too used to dp through q2, i think i'll stick with it if i can get it to work again.
help me out, thx

MeRL, make sure that your gamespy/all seeing eye is pointing to the correct .exe; however I believe that the exe in the nocheat zip is quake2.exe just verify anyway.

The new version doesn't go in the quake2 folder -- it's completely independant (hit the help link and read the FAQ thing Zimbu put together).
