Once again I'm late informing people, but signups for QuakeCon (http://www.quakecon.org/) are open. We'll try to get the Paintball 2 players grouped together when we get there - likely with the TastySpleen/BTF/Quake2 guys.

We have a Quake 3 server up and running titled "[ACACA]" right now, training for QuakeCon on it with CPMA (Pro Mode Q3). A lot of the people who join it while we're goofing off don't speak English xD

Still haven't decided if I'm going to bring my desktop or laptop. If I can't find a suitable case to pack the desktop in, it'll just be my laptop (which can barely play pb2, but hey... that's what counts, right? ;))

btw, my DP server is at 172.19.12.115 . however, if you need to download the game, my DC++ isn't available, but i think jits's is.

No such thing. Enjoy your broken laptop in like two years.
Second, if you keep going to LANs you'll eventually win enough stuff that you'll come out ahead (in terms of net gains and such). They're a good investment!
Well, at least PDXLAN had/has about one prize per three people. And they're usually really, really nice 8800s or motherboards.
