Title: Ideas: Gameplay possibilities- oneplayer
Post by: StealthAssassin4u on December 13, 2005, 02:00:23 AM
To Ask a few Questions,

  1)  Would it be at all possible to implement an option for one-player mode? (to learn the maps)

   2) would it be too much to ask to have one-on-one deathmatches?

    3) To add dificulty-- add(of course over time) a slowed-down gameplay option, when in an encounter--Adrenaline-. (like on NFSU 2 the motion blur effect, yes with a On/Off option)  ?????

                               Feedback PLEASE! ! !

WoW...maybe Option #2 would work.
Kinda like rocket arena for paintball...Paintball Arena.

Round by round basis...
No flags...
Everyone gets in line...
The winner of the round holds the map till he/she is knocked out.

That removes teamplay. I hate it, but I'm sure some people like it.

And to answer #1, there already is. No bots, but type in 'debug1 1' (sans quotes) in the console.

Well there are bots, but they suck.  Type "sv addbot" at the console.  Check the docs/faq (http://www.planetquake.com/digitalpaint/docs.html) for more info.

You have to type "debug1 1" at the console in order to actually play the maps (shoot and pick up flags and stuff), though.
