Title: extreme lag

 :'(Hi i just started to play paint ball and i have a lot of lag .the lowest i have had was 298 most of the time i have 300-600 .i have a 56k modem.I don't usually get a lot of ping on other games like gunz.

Seems like that's the problem. As far as I know, there are no South African servers :-/

Probably not unless you can find somebody in South Africa to set up a server.

Or you could move to Europe or America but I doubt you want to play this game that bad.
I had a 33k modem and I played my first 2 years with it. My ping was 300+ but atleast i got something good from it - my name ;)
You can try to keep playing, low ping isn't that important. (Even with high ping you can camp and line =D)

I think he using the wrong type of ethernet cable  (http://www.usa.denon.com/ProductDetails/3429.asp#)
