Title: Play Team Fortress 2 for free this weekend.

For anyone without TF2 wanting to try it out, simply get Steam (http://steampowered.com) and you'll see that you can begin pre-loading TF2 which will be activated this weekend - June 20-22.

This whole medic, then pyro thing is a pain. I've been avoiding TF2 because of it and just playing SourceForts and QWTF.

You're forced to be pyro, or is it just the class all the new players choose?

It's all classes. Most players are using the pyro and medic excessively when they're not needed because they're trying to accomplish the achievements that Medic and Pyro have released. In other words, you join a pub and end up with medics and pyros everywhere unless for if the server has class caps.

Yeah. Man, if they had done the soldier and the pyro at the same time it would've been great.

TF2 achievement updates are really fun when the server has class caps. Hope to have a computer to play it on in a few weeks =\
