Title: Mods for DP

I have a quick question...

Are you able to make mods for DP? (ex. like halflife or counterstrike mods)

I have searched for it by I cannot find it.

The jump mod is a mod for Q2.
Paintball is a mod for Q2 too.

so if I made a mod for Q2, it would work for DP?

If you make a q2 mod, why would you even worry about DP?

To answer your question, more than likely not, as the engine is highly modified from the original q2 engine.

Super early alpha - took about 15 minutes to make. It is a mockup for a laser tag mod for paintball - some people asked for me to try it. If you ignore the errors (they can be fixed) you can see that it is possible, if a bit dodgy, to make a mod for paintball.

However, you'd have to base it on the Quake2 code and adapt it for paintball resources, so I wouldn't recommend it.
