Get Rcon Unlitmated it will let you send commands to your server remotely. The command list can be found on DP resources. Sorry I do not have a link for either but I know they are in one of my old threads.

Also your server will need to send a "heartbeat" to the master server, the server browser. Once it sends a heartbeat it can be seen by everyone. This takes about 5 mins unless you use Rcon and send the heartbeat command.

These are just a few tips to keep in mind when running a home server.

Post by: wallpainter08 on August 17, 2008, 08:44:54 AM: When you close out the black box it shuts down your server...therefore you will need to keep the box open as long as you want your server up.

Also just type heartbeat in the black box, not the console, to get the command to work

For the weeks that i was running DIO clan servers i averaged 9-12 people and the server was home run. The only problem is something is using my bandwith. So when i use teamspeak i lag. but max was 18 and everyone played fine.
