hey,

i was just wondering what happened to the GT servers....when you go to switch teams or join observer....you can't (you gotta have level 35)

just wondering what was up

My guess is they don't want observers using up slots that actual players could be using.

Or, they don't want you to be able to chasecam them and see all ther l33t hacks.

Well, from what I know, Snipen got really annoyed with team changers, newbs were changing teams to the one that was winning, or they were just being annoying.  From that perspective its good, but un-even teams make it a lil difficult.

Yep, it seems like a good policy to restrict (or even remove!) commands that some people might abuse so that they have a better time while completely disregarding how their actions may effect other's experience on the server.
Seems like a very good policy indeed.

except for when one team is plowing and you try to change teams to make is fair (me go from dominating team to poor team ;)).. but you cant

Not exactly, I mean't by the fact that if 2 or more people left from the same team, it would end up as 6vs10, whereas Rimini pointed out one team was plowing, and the other one sucked.  But even the team even feature vote wouldn't help that.

It's not implemented, and they're not doing it. They've just disabled team joining/changing.
