I saw somwhere a code to make the screen on DP brighter, i am wondeing if it would be posible to bind the code to a key like "M" or somthing, and would it be posible to give it a green tint???
I'l look and try and find the code.
-
gl_brightness 1
makes it brighter...u can "bind m gl_brightness 1" or gl_brightness 2 or 3 if you still need it brighter...not sure about tint tho
-
alrighty, thanks. yeah tint is prob inposible. Thanks Iced.
-
np...anytime
-
Okay, I think i have Night Vision figered out,
seting it up so when i hit a key it will change to a new croshair and set the brightnes up some...
for the tint the croshair will be a normal CH but with green lines 1 pix wide running from top left to botom right set at 0 pix apart...
-
sorry, posted wrong pic there
you can see though with the green lines in the 2nd pic from GRAVE that you can see more in the BG, you can see the 2nd row of graves were as in the top pic from GRAVE you cant see em...
I'l try and have it done tomorow. Thanks to Zorchenhimer and ViciouZ i now know how to make Croshairs, LOL
-
Awesome, now you can run around without being able to see.
-
:P Exactly
-
Heres another screenies of GRAVE using darker colors, not green.
seems the darker the lines the more detal you get in darker places, look at the headstones on the back row and comper the the first pic from Grave.
-
Why would you play with those settings?
-
It's fun to him? To each his own.
On another note, I swear I posted to this topic. Can't you use a translucent TGA for a crosshair? That would look much better.
-
I'm "Playing around with them" because I'm having allot of trouble see'n on the darker maps, even with my screens brightens set up higher...
its always so dark the even with the screen lighter all the colors run together.
I'm basically trying the set it up so with the torch of a button i can have something to come up and separate the colors.
my PC sucks so maybe thats the prob....
-
Dark maps are made so you have a harder time seeing.
-
Also, you won't be able to see more by removing information from your screen. Night vision is more than just adding green pixels to your screen. :P
-
Actual night vision would require an actual game implementation. To make your own night vision would require a more tweakable engine like the COD games.
-
I didnt think that was possible.. i guess u cant get in trouble for that since its a disadvantage lol =]

I made a green and dark blue to combat different conditions xD
-
night vision ftl...idk y anyone would want that for paintball
-
this might be good if improved so you can kill all the people who camp in dark places, but me thats would be about it for me.
