Every now and then, I get kicked from a game with the following message:
"[playername] was dropped: illegal pmove msec detected"
What does this mean???
Am I doing something wrong???

It means you are being kicked for suspected speedhacking, I think. This can occur if you are downloading while playing or are otherwise liable to packet loss or very high latency. Try playing on different servers, or stop any downloads running while you play.

scan this guy for illegal mp3.

Well I live in Australia; my pings almost all ways through the roof, so I make sure theres not anything else running/downloading, and I always try to use the best servers available.

Scan me all you want, I'm not the cheating type.

What the flying donkey dorks are you talking about?

Sounds like data in your packet has been corrupted (either on your computer, on your router, firewall, cable modem, isp, transmission, etc). I'm not sure what you can do about it, though. Have you had this kind of problems with other games?

I don't play heaps of online games, but A.O.E., W.O.W and Counter Strike's online components have all worked without a hassle.
It hasn't happened for a couple of weeks now, will keep you posted if it starts up again.
