You can't link to pictures on your hard drive. You have to either attach it to a post, or upload it somewhere else first.

Firefox is open source and runs on multiple platforms. Some people prefer it to IE or Safari or Konqueror or whatever else. It's not greatly better, and not as feature rich as Opera, but I like it because the extensions let you do a lot. Most linux distros do come with firefox :)

Quite. Some people really like quake 4, personally, I think it was more of a big graphics demo than a game. And the graphics are no longer amazing.

Press the 'Print Screen' button next to the F12 on your keyboard. Then open up a program to save it in - paint is good enough. Press Ctrl + V and then save it as either a .jpg file or a .png file

link. Click it and hit the browse button, locate your file and hit post

If you have Windows XP or any other Windows version (not sure about Vista) then you desktop pic would be saved as a default into your 'My Pictures' directory, under 'My Documents'.

If you need in-game menus, you're a massive nub. Just type "servers" and "connect #". Plus somebody is already working on a branch with menus in the SVN.

I used to run that every day at work, then I traded up for the not so secret Zune theme. The orange start button is actually pretty hawt.

Windows 7 is pretty intense. I'm upgrading after my online class is done for the semester. Otherwise half the excrement I need isn't compatible.

It uses system resources better than vista, so lower grade computers can run better on a newer OS.

Eh, usually if I print stuff it's in my computer lab on campus, but 64 bit would work better with my computer setup either way.

W7 is awesome, finally some product from M$oft that is usefull.
Have it for couple of months for now, no problem with compatibility. I'm glad that after 10 months I've builtet new comp that it components are getting used for 64x.

Nothing wrong with uTorrent, if the settings are tuned right, you get some really good speeds. Plus the program is small.

on this desktop the are not normally any icons at all you can double click to show them tho i have used transbar to remove the taskbar (invisible at the top) used rocketdock with docklets stack so it looks more like a mac computer and everything has the brushed metal theme including boot and logon
