Here's the ratings as of this moment:
1 swk 1020 1 0
2 Blitz 1035 2 0
3 smokey 1016 1 1
4 skater 990 1 1
5 XtremeBain 985 0 1
6 DAMIEN 985 0 1
7 storm 887 0 1
First off, swk is ranked #1 even though he has a lower score and fewer wins than Blitz.
Ok, nevermind on the second -- I thought something was messed up with the ratings, but was reading the order of the events backwards.

Question: storm xbain and damien all are 0-1 why is storm 887 and damien and xbain 985
-
Storm was beaten by somebody with a lower ranking.
-
Even though blitz has a higher ranking, swk still managed to defeat SkateR and gain the #1 ranking.
The #1 rank can only taken if the existing #1 player has been defeated, resigned from ladder or has been forfeited for not responding to challenges.
Storm is so low because he accidentally went into hibernation. As the hibernation page reads, you agree to forfeit 5% of your rating to receive protection from challenges while you're away on vacation or taking a break.
(A mis-calculation had yielded a forfeit of 10%, which I have just fixed and adjusted accordingly).
I have a set of 1v1 rules stored on my hard drive at work, I would have liked to have them available at time of launch, but the launch went ahead anyway. I'll try to have it available after the weekend.

Oh I see now, I was confused also..thats kind of cool though.
-
So if nobody ever challenged him, he'd just stay #1 forever?
-
If he neglects to respond to a challenge after a week he gets forfeited.
However he can reject challenges from ranks 6+.
He is required to accept a challenge from players ranked 2-5 unless he already has two matched scheduled in the next 15 days.
I'll make a post in the brief rules post regarding the criteria which the Chalengee can reject matches.
