Title: Doesn't work..

How to get pb2 working? It says for me when i start it:

Error during initialization. Make sure you have an OpenGL capable video card and that the latest drivers installed.

What to do? Help please! I want play pb2!

DID YOU?

-ur vid card is too old/not right configured
-you havent got the right drivers for it

hello,
i was playing with this fabulous game, and it doesn't work anymore ....

I have upgraded my video card driver because i needed it for an another game ....then, paintball write the same error message ...


What happened ?? same video card, just the new driver ??? i don't believe that !

A while back, when i updated my video driver, i also had the same problem. I just went back to my old driver and it then worked again..

my video card : ATI IGP 345M -laptop

Last driver catalyst 6.3

resinstall win xp SP2, with format, old driver ...it runs. ..

Laptop drivers are frequently troublesome, especially with ATI.  I don't really know what to tell you, sorry.

My Laptop has got a GeForce 6600 GO and it kicks a**.  Never had one problem out of it.

I don't know anything about the IGP 345M, though.  How does it compare to a 9700pro?

My laptop has it, absolutely no linux support or software, and the windows software comes with the neat little AIT manager, other than that it sucks at new games. Runs CS, Q3, and DPball fine, just nothing more intense.

No.
This goes back to the gamma issue or lack of. This was when we were testing COBO's 2nd map (forget name) but the tunnel was 'too dark' I took a ss and said argued that most vid cards have this ability to boost gamma.

And I argued that you shouldn't have to make the whole game washed out and look like crap just so you can see in the tunnel when the mapper can just make it brighter, but what does that have to do with your OS?
