Today i started a new map, i guess for "pub" server, with 2 flags. I fixed all bugs on it (i guess), and I wont work too much on it again. I'm working on other style of maps (with more details of field like i did on crash valley)
There are 2 flags/team. Guns are carbines.
it's not really my style of mapping, but i was bored to try to fix bugs on my others maps, i needed to do something new. Now i can go back work on my others maps.

Looks nice for a one day job. but as one day mapping day . so like 2-3 hours or like actually 24 hours

I don't know how many hours i worked on it, but not 24 hours. I started it yesterday and i did it fast for fun.
Maybe i should make two outputs for the low?
(well, i udploaded it again with name "wipa_b1" cus im not sure if i will change something something finally)

WOW, this map rocks! It's really nice one. Didn't even know about that ppp1-d13? map which you remade.
I'd give you 4,5 stars from 5.
The textures remind me of map mia a lil bit.

I don't have much suggestions for you. I like the design very much. One thing is what i would like to see is, that you would embed the metal boards in sshot to the wall. That would give some more contrast to the map :)
And align that plank :P

And about your picture, you are showing me the blue plank? It's metal's texture, don't need to be aligned?

I mean, that embed that metal to the wall im showing, and meant that plank on the barrels to be rotated :P I hope that you now understand my sometimes bad english :D

3rd maybe make it full instead of half -> New texture on the last wall.

I'd clip the ladder at middle so you don't have to approach it from the side and clip the inside of the windows of the flag2 tunnel. Other than that it's decent. Then there's the mandatory, "Sick ice route bro."

I like it. I don't think anyone has mentioned the roof yet but is there a way to get to the planks above the first flag? Every time I try it wont let me get to this next one.

Now you can go on the roof, but not where you are on the screen.

I think what James said was to make that mid ladder easier to get up to mid roof, you have to dj from the side to get on it, took me a few tries

You really shouldn't compare this MAP to your, erm, 'crap-maps'.
Nowadays all czech maps are made without further thinking, adding all these fast routes and ice ways just so you can cap on newbies is pointless. I see irony in this map, just like it is an example of how czechs should make their dreamed of maps. I believe this map is made to show most of czechish community that making this kind of map isn't hard, it's just czechs that think fast paced, unplanned, 1-day maps full of bugs are best to make and to play on. I didn't mean to flame.

dear gama ... maybe u dont know , but no1 of my maps have ice ... if you found anything like ice in maps i left DP .... and now , i am tring to use thinking i am making it like 20 hours in the day ... DPball just killed me .... ;)

He was not talking specially about your map when he said "Nowadays all czech maps are made without further thinking, adding all these fast routes and ice ways". He has applied this to all czechs people who are making theirs "meddlings cools" maps with all theses beautifulls bugs. They think theirs map are helping to grow up the game. (The saddest is that people are playing theses maps when they match =/)

i really like this map.

Put a brush with the clip texture under that ladder so you don't hit the bottom when you jump head on
He said he didn't want to fix that because he wanted that jump to not be so easy

the wood blocking the ladder and can't come up and will know to line that one side

This map is done. I tested it, it works, you can use both ladder, just go slow to use them.
i really won't work again on it, i need to work on my others maps, sry.

The only thing I noticed were those textures on the small boxes in nick's screen shots. Other than that I like it.

Something is wrong with Nick's textures. They are all oversized. If you actually go ingame the boxes are normal.

Sawy how did you get those textures? Mine are always crappy and I have build 27, no texture blending and my grass and dirt look like blobs of green and brown.
