Title: Having trouble making a working funname bind

ok Matze helped me for like an hour and we still couldnt get it to work...im trying to set a funname as a bind but everytime i do it, it comes up very weird or doesnt even come up at all,  :-\ help please?

How i can do fun text? Help me. I only know that first i should click Console, what then? I need your help people ;(

To get to the menu do a "menu setup_funname" at the Console.

Supermonkey:
First of all go to your config.cfg and search for "seta name".
There should be something like: seta name "<your name here>".
Copy the text within the quotes. Your name can look pretty strange! This here for instance is my [bit] - funname: ‡ˆÐˆÑbˆÒiˆÓtˆÔ‘

After that, make a new bind in your config with the following command: bind "<key>" "name <your name here>". It is important that you copy ALL the symbols of your funname, espeacially the "ˆ"s, cause they are for the different colors.


Janezka:
Open console and then type: menu setup_funname.
There you have a wide range of differnt fonts, colors and symbols.

Personally I dislike them as well. Especially cause nowadays everybody has them :-\ .

The europeans are a few years ahead of NA in terms of funnames.

if you guys want an easier way to get funname menu to work all i did was change the menus in the dp folder by adding a menu setup_funname link to the main in game menu, so it comes up on the list underneath options, it works alot better and you can just type a normal name into it with ur keyboard so its good for everything, alot better then use the cmd.
