Well i decided to play today. To my surprise the login system was messed up, or my computer running slow, and wouldn't log me in. So i press cancel, so i could just use name newbie when i get this message, i have never hacked or modded so i don't now why this came up, should i be worried or is it fine?

I have recently installed Left4Dead into the games folder, and when i looks at maps like in the game folder, it has a left4dead symbol, could that be the reason?

I wouldn't go online if I were you. If you haven't modified anything then idk, it might be some kind of virus or something. Reinstall.

I had the same thing when i started using new builds.

I don't know if I still have that message since I connect mostly through serverbrowser.

I remember that it was said that new builds can cause this for some people.

It had something to do with jitspoe not changing something that brings that warning up.  Robbie is running 27, and I don't believe there are problems with it.

If it just came up after u installed L4D, re-install paintball and see what hapens.  I don't see whats stopping you from playing you.  You didn't do anything wrong, so theres nothing holding you back in my opinion....

Dude.  Ok.  How does the detection system work?  It DETECTS things that you shouldn't have, eg hacks.  If you do not hack, then you will not get banned.  And do what KnacK said for me please ;D

Try reinstalling the full build 27 install (you don't need to uninstall - just install over your existing install).  As for the l4d icons, valve associates .bsp files with whatever the latest game is.  That's normal.
