I don't think it is appropriate. But I don't think it's feasible that the committee could go through everyone's names and rule what is appropriate and what is not. Especially since eveyone can have multiple names and can pretty much create a new one whenever they want.
I think the best way to handle it would be on the server level. If someone joins up w/ an inappropriate name, the server admin should tell him to change his name; if he doesn't then he should just kick/temp ban him and tell him not to come back unless he changes it.

Here we go. Get off the racism. If that kind of stuff hurts your feelings then go live under a rock. Who cares? Does it offend you that a czech has the name negr? Why would a czech be racist towards african americans anyways? Did they enslave thousands? Get over it. If you can't laugh at it then you are causing a problem. Go join PETA you hippy. When I was younger we had a rhyme that could be applied here. Maybe that's what is wrong with this world. People take words way to seriously these days.
