Title: Zenith and Galactica (Future Maps)

Here's a couple of sneak peeks at what Robbie and I have done recently. I haven't really posted any maps lately, other than DodgeBrawl, so this will be my biggest project. Robbie has also started work on a large map, and we should be releasing them seperately, but around the same time, so you can look forward to 2 good maps instead of 1.

Both our maps are Sci Fi themed, so they'll be different from the usual grass and rock cliff map we're used to seeing in Pball.

Here's 2 screenshots of the spawn rooms. It's a bit dark, but it's better in game.

We hope you'll enjoy these sneak peeks and look forward to the beta releases.

Here is mine, noway as good looking as musiks but we will pull off two good maps, hope you are looking forward to them.. it has textures me and musik has gathered and we will release an amazing texture pack later

Both are good maps, mine just looks more detailed so far. Lmao
Note: any textures you see that don't belong to the original dp or ctp packs are textures we found online that can be used or distributed freely. A link to the texture sources will be provided along with the release of the map betas.

probably one of the most interesting maps I have ever saw
i hope this is a real good gameplay map too
but you should really provide a download link :/ :/

Thanks that is really what we want, the maps now are mostly all grass and cliff

The gameplay we will try to be really good. The lighting will be really interesting, there is normal lighting, multi colored (green, red , blue) and will add alot of detail and try to really make it great, i am also gonna try to find new textures for lights

and Musickid999 from the screenshot it reminds me of halo. Looks nice.

The maps look cool, they probably will have different gameplay. But the reason the maps are all grass and cliff is because outdoor maps with space offer the possibility of jumps and stuff. Inclosed spaces don't. But i'm looking forward to getting to walkthrough your maps.

ROFL. Thank you. We just have different styles, that's all. My focus is detail. Robbie's focus is gameplay.

Might want to show us where your getting these textures from, you could be wrong. Those textures may not be gpl.

This is the link of the pack Robbie's map is using. It's available for free download, with many other people using it in their own games. I myself am not using that pack, but will take the blame and tell Robbie to change his textures immediately if we're not allowed to use them. Just to be clear once again, we do NOT take credit for them.

Now renamed my map to Zenith.

I just realized the massive change in Robbie's mapping skill. LMAO.

For now, there's not much gameplay, mainly because it's kind of hard coming up with a different sci fi theme for every hallway. I plan my map to be a kind of, spacey complex, so there will be space for jumps and speed. Lighting will be varying from the lights you saw in the screenshot, to some quite interesting bright lighting I'll be trying to add. Overall though, the map will be quite dark.

It really looks like an Quake map. I hope the game play is as cool as theses texture. But i don't know if theses texture will be good for this game. Your first screen, RoBbIe, looks like a screen of the game jedi knight. It's cool.

Progress on Zenith is slowing down. I'll be in Hong Kong for the summer (as of right now) and I won't be staying at home much to work on the map. Currently, the map is a bit away from being half done, but is already a decent size, so I'll expect a beta release before the end of the month. Depending on how much I get done and how much I have left, I might release a small playable demo of Zenith.

Omg, as if progress wasn't slow enough. I'll have to rework a lot of the map because I have too many lights.
