How can I set the resolution to 1920x1080? The closest avaiable options are 1900x1200 or 1680x1050. I'm using 1050 atm, but I don't like the black bars or the pixel smudging on my LCD. :P

Currently you cannot set a custom resolution. I'm not even sure if that would be possible. For now you're just gonna have to make due with what you have. :-\

It should be possible. I found a mod for Quake 2 to get it working. Hmm... maybe I should look for that too. Again... lol.
The problem is it's not as simple as editing a *.cfg file.
EDIT: Found it... http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=255
They edited the Quake2.exe. Can I do this to mine?

I added custom resolutions in the source a while back but then figured pretty much all the resolutions were accounted for and didn't commit. It's a simple 5 minute tweak.
Modifying your paintball2.exe will result in a ban if used online due to cheating prevention.

What can I do now?

Make a feature request for that resolution to be added.
Makes sense to me. My new 22" ws uses that as a recommended dispaly settings.

Huh, guess I stand corrected.

OK. I had another look last night, and the closest resolution was 1920x1200. That should be either 1900x1200 or 1920x1080. It's a common mistake.

eh, just use windowed mode, its much better :)

Or a bigger screen with lower res. :P
