I actually work on a map converter which work with map created with Hammer.
If someone is interested, say it to me.

As you can or you will see in this post (http://dplogin.com/forums/index.php?topic=2249.0), the converter now allows to use transparent textures and water.

You must start converter like this in a prompt command:
convert.exe ***.map trace1000
We will give you some tips for sky, water, ... in the day.
If you have any answer or problem post it.

- Transparent textures must start with 32_ or 16_
- sky is define with a sky1 or sky2 textures in Hammer. 1 is use for no light from sky, and with 2, you can specify a light from sky with sky2_force in the map properties.
- The liquids must start with liquide
