QeHs are hosting a 3v3 Tournament!
 
[q] 3v3 Cup Info:
   -Date 17.10.2009
   -Time 18:00 GMT (17:00 CET). Yes, we are still at summertime...
   -Maps: TBD! (please suggest some maps! Well mapped [good looking], good gameplay [camping isn't the best tactic, speedjumps isnt the ONLY tactic]), don't have to be famous, 5 maps in maplist, some of them can be less known
   -Format: Double elimination (example from our last tournament: http://timetravellers.planet.ee/minicup/bracket_view.php)
   -Servers: European (details to be decided)
   -Teams: 8 teams please!!


I (blaa) hear so many people whining that dp is dead... Why meddling whine, do something! Play in this tournament! Show that this game is worth our time!
btw, why did I (blaa) get banned for 30 days, while my last ban was 64 days, so I should have gotten 128 days now?????

Considering that half of the cups don't even happen, the maps aren't exactly played, just heard off

darkages is a bit bit for a 3v3 personally... but most of the other maps i agree on

pbcup_pforest, carpathian, cream, nitefactor, warehouse

Roundup - Flaw_mines_b1 - g2_b2 - mystique - Mirror2 [noglitch] - Roanoke_b2

Some decent maps, some of which really new but have good gamplay. Most of them you cannot camp. Would be nice to see atleast one of them get in.

Oh come on spx, you are the one choosing them :D

So far most probable maps are:
hellsurvivors, midnight, pp2, warhouse/sphouse, c1/pbcup_sassault

Keep in mind it's what I'd pick for this tourny, other qehsorz are to decide as well.

@Myers
a) roundup has been ubercamped since last year, we dropped the idea to even play it in matchesl
b) I don't personally like flaw_mines, jumps are screwed and ballspeed I consider to be too low to do long-range shots with higher ping;
c) I DO like g2, though never played a match on it, can't say much;
d) mystique - never matched on, although q always keep this map in mind for future - maybe now it's high time?
e) mirror2 could play really well
f) roanoke is too fast, way too fast.

How do you all feel about playing halfpipe? We have tested it with spx, no sick ice jumps, requires teamplay if enemy camps, capping doesn't take 5s.

I'm having some problems with the poll, since I wanted to make it able to have up to 5 votes, but when I added the poll to the thread it doesn't give me the option, all it allows me to do is to add more vote options.

Yeah, it might be hard to gather 3 out of 4-5 listed, so either register dplogin clan OR list all players from funmade clan.

Naming a dplogin clan is just fine, we are going to check them beforehand anyways.
