I came back to Dp yesterday.

I'm lagging terribly.

trace route the server, a good app for that can be
UOtrace, there are others.

its most likely a hop to the server that is bad, or your
isp could be bad if its shared bandwidth.

there's really nothing you can do but call and complain
to the source of your problem. example, if its your
isp, call them. if its a hop and not your isp, identify it
and get their phone number from whois.com or whatever
whois service you use.

from there, b1tch and whine and call often, lag will go away if you do it long enough.

Questions to help a little better:

Is it one set of servers, or all of the servers?

Is it just this game, or is it all games?

Is the game running through any firewalls? Have you tried the game with disabled firewalls?

Are you running it on wireless internet?

It's most servers.

I've only tried the one's listed:

- Supermans Pub
- vF Pub
- Ev1 Pub

It seems like it's just this game.

I opened up warsow and tried a few servers. Not 1 spike, what so ever.

Running off of a cable modem.

Turned off firewall, and loaded dp2. Less lag, But still spiking pretty bad.

I have a same problem when I go home and play on laptop, same looking netgraph, happening for years already. Unfortunatelly there's nothing you can do to my knowledge. And I have tried many options, from cleaning whole pc, formating, router change...

I don't know what's going on.

Earlier this morning, I took a Screenshot of my Netgraph.

Hardly as bad as yesterday.

and if thats supermans's pub, a netgraph like that is common, since his servers have bad lag.

I get the same lag on all servers, Only game also. So does a few other players I have talked to.

try downloading tcpotimizer (http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php) and turning down some settings. be sure to read the documentation and save the original settings so you have a valid reference point.

most likely it's your isp and you should get away from them. at&t does an overall decent job, but it seems like there are alot of local providers who can do better. just gotta see whats out there.
