Post by: MyeRs on December 03, 2009, 04:28:45 PM
Basically i've searched and got this thread:

http://dplogin.com/forums/index.php?topic=3793.0

I asked a few people for help, i tried the stuff in that thread and couldn't figure out the problem.

Whenever I export that happens. It's only on this computer, my other one works fine. So yeahhhhhhh help outt

Problem:

'paintball2' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Is your BSP install in C:\bsp and your paintball2 install in c:\games\paintball2?

Can you post the full output of the export in some brackets? You can right click on the command prompt and use "mark" to select stuff. It might help to shed some light on the situation.

It's probably some stupid mistake but anyways hope you can help.

C:\bsp\pball2\quake2\pball\mapfiles>call ..\compilers\runmap outdoor_a3

C:\bsp\pball2\quake2\pball\mapfiles>copy outdoor_a3.bsp c:\games\paintball2\pbal
l\maps\inprogress
The system cannot find the path specified.
        0 file(s) copied.

C:\bsp\pball2\quake2\pball\mapfiles>c:

C:\bsp\pball2\quake2\pball\mapfiles>cd \games\paintball2
The system cannot find the path specified.

C:\bsp\pball2\quake2\pball\mapfiles>pause
Press any key to continue . . .

C:\bsp\pball2\quake2\pball\mapfiles>paintball2 +map inprogress/outdoor_a3
'paintball2' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

C:\bsp\pball2\quake2\pball\mapfiles>pause

Are you absolutely sure that your paintball folder is c:/games/paintball2? The error after trying to cd there makes it seem like it doesn't exist. Are you using windows 7?

I'm using windows vista, and yes im 100% sure it's in my c:/games/paintball. I've reinstalled bsp and paintball nothing got fixed. I tried moving paintball to various locations hoping it could fix it, which didn't work either.

Make sure you have an inprogress folder in your maps folder.
