Hi ppl,

I've just one little question... how to make an own sky texture for a map? sometimes the sky over here looks just great and I'd like to use it as a texture, I took some panorama view pics and wanna make them as a texture, how to make that??

The skys are actually just 6 seamless textures that are put on a large box. You need an up, down, left, right, forward, and back picture. Each picture's resolution needs to be 256x256, too. I'll see if I can put something together that better explains it...

Okay, it worked this time.
No, no it didn't. Bah. Attachement system sucks. I'll just use freewebs...

I use 512*512 textures for ENV with no problem.

Originally Q2 was limited to 256x256.  Paintball2 is limited by whatever your card supports.  I have some 1024x1024 skies for the high-res texture pack, but my old geforce 256 doesn't handle them very well.
