Title: Open gl on vista

Ok so I'm thinking I wanna pick up this game and start playing again, but I can't figure out how to enable open gl on my ati radeon 9250. It says my drivers are up to date , and yes i did try updating. searching the forums didnt help me al all, neither did google. whats the trick to doing this with vista?

directx? i thought they did something with that. oh and vista sucks get win 7:)

Normally direct x should be installed automatically on vista. It works fine for me in the last years.

ATI drivers are hit or miss.  Sometimes you need to downgrade to get everything working nicely.

Also, DirectX != OpenGL.

I got direct x, even restarted but still no luck :/. what next?
I've used this card and computer before, i just have vista instead of xp now

Have you got the same window like this?

Maybe there is not a good drivers for your GPU on Vista.

Which drivers have u installed?
I can only find windows xp drivers (catalyst software suite 6.11 (https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ati.com/drivers/6-11-pre-r300_xp-2k_dd_ccc_wdm_38185.exe)) for the radeon 9250, but no vista drivers.


Btw: Chef-Killer has the same card on windows xp and it works good.

I think you should install XP again. ATI doesn't support this card on Vista.
