I had a 1vs1 on [3iob] match when [xP]Pi3man changed with [xP-2]WyZe. WyZe did not just camp and line all the time, I suspect him to use an aimbot/ratbot because of his inhuman reactions and because he 1-balled me at least 2 times when I came flying over the last barrel row in back2back while he was camping there and could not have seen me. Even if he has, his reactions were far too good.
If the attachment doesn´t work, you can find the demo here: http://www.mediafire.com/?hjzldo2diyk (http://www.mediafire.com/?hjzldo2diyk)

LMFAO! HAHA! OMG! Dude I 1 balled because you did the same rush about 20 times! So I would camp to try and ensure I would keep the lead that cartoon had made. And I would camp in like 2 spots one spot where you would come right over me at 30 km/h or m/h (not quite sure which) and I would shoot but because youre that close to me the ball would hit you before another ball could get off!!
wyZe
-
lmfao.. epically raped much!?!?
and why was this posted if he lost?!?!?
-
And at about 7:56 left in the match you can see my camping spot where I 1 balled him. LMAO! LMAO! OMFG! LMAO!
wyZe
-
yeah i highly doubt he uses a ratbot
-
how do u know that it was a ratbot?
-
Wyze please post your demo so we can see if you were botting.
-
how do u know that it was a ratbot?
Well, I apologize if I´m mistaken and WyZe didn´t use a ratbot. I suspect him because there were some moments (sry forgot the time) when he 1-balled me from behind when I jumped over the barrels and I think that even if you knew when the enemy is coming it is still hard to 1-ball him. WyZe just waited in the corner where the barrel row and the wall meet without knowing if I´ll come from below or above and still killed me.
and why was this posted if he lost?!?!?
Like I said, I apologize if I´m mistaken but for me the only thing that matters is that I don´t like cheaters, regardless if he won or lost.
IE
-
well you see the proper way to say it is aimbot. ratbot is a specific program, specifying that you knew that he was using that program.
-
I didnt see anything wrong in the demo.

its a bad demo.

its a bad demo.
Sorry for lagging >:(
I didnt see anything wrong in the demo.
Well, I reviewed the demo a few times and there are only 2 suspicious moments left for me. The first one is at 4.52 minutes left, the other one is somewhere in the middle when Wyze jumps in for Pi3man/MOFO. I´m crouching while he is camping and looking at the barrel row where I usually appeared. He shot me down in the same moment I saw him. At 0.20 I used this route again and he didn´t see me. It may be that I was mistaken, but to verify that he didn´t use cheats I would like to see his demo.

Wyze this is an official committee request for the demo. It was asked for in an appropriate time and fashion.

Thats agreeable, you've done everything appropriately. Wyze submit your demo please.

Ok, this may seem bad. I can't produce a demo because I have no matches in my demos because I always stop my demos before I join in. Anyways, I can assure I didn't aimbot. The only reason I have suspicious kills is because of pure instinct/repetitiveness/probability. He was just soooo repetitive it was outrageous he did the same rush atleast 30 times! Those 1 balls were pure instinct to camp out where he would come flying over letting me shoot him. It had nothing to do with an aimbot!
wyZe
P.S. Lmao!

Why would you always type "stop" in your demo? You must have something to hide. How can we trust your words without your demo? It aint looking good for you.

Ratbot is detectable, right?

Its obviously because people don't have 500mb free space on their computer. The amount of times that excuse has been used... Any computer that doesn't have that much spare space shouldn't be able to run paintball smoothly.

What is the ban time for not providing a replay?

guess you just gave all the active hackers the best excuse they could probably wish for...
-
Demo's together average at 1mb each. I have a total of 500 demos, so a total of 500mb. If someone can't hold onto 500mb, then they must have gotten pb2 on a netbook, there's no other reason...
A single picture can take up more than twice the size of a demo, photoshop files can get up to 500mb each, MW2 goes past 10GB... It's impossible to believe that someone's computer can't handle files at 1mb each...
-
its not about the size, i remember when i used to do stop everytime i joined a server..
-
I take that comment as a full admittance to hacking... :P
-

Well then tell us what its about then :P
-
for no reason.. if i wanted to save demo i didnt stop so then when i need to find there isnt 1000000 demos to go through
-
I don't ratbot or hack at all! He is just one of those guys that play 1 map and does 1 rush over and over again. You can see in his demo he does his rush 30 - 40 times. It's outrageous. I mean he still won. Like what the hell? I lost and he still posted it. Doesn't make sense. Also, as alot of people might know, I am not that great at paintball and a good reason is that I have no space on my 15 year old computer. So youre right I dont run paintball smoothly. But, if you see me in that demo I do not twitch and I died alot when he came up beside me. Which are 2 major points that wouldn't happen if I was ratbotting/aimbotting. The fact that I might get banned for something I didn't do is completely stupid. Not giving people your demo because you stopped it should not result in a ban unless you are accused of using wall hacks. This is utterly stupid + retarded, this whole thing should be locked. Get jitspoe in this he'll examine the demo and actually see unlike some, that I din't use a ratbot!

"But, if you see me in that demo I do not twitch and I died alot when he came up beside me. Which are 2 major points that wouldn't happen if I was ratbotting/aimbotting."
You can`t see that in HIS demo. And you still die.
-
for no reason.. if i wanted to save demo i didnt stop so then when i need to find there isnt 1000000 demos to go through
Unacceptable. There is no reason you can't take 5 minutes of your time once a month or every two weeks and delete some of the older ones. I bet most people take time to go through their email, music, and photos on a regular basis so this is something far easier to do. To me if someone is purposely stopping stop in a match server it is because they are hiding something. Only logical explanation so far it would seem.
I mean he still won. Like what the hell? I lost and he still posted it. Doesn't make sense.
It makes perfect sense. He should only post if he loses? If anyone suspects a hack they can help the community by requesting a demo to verify. This subject of you hacking would be a shut and close case if you would just hand over a demo that most people don't even know exists much less the commands to stop them.
So youre right I dont run paintball smoothly. But, if you see me in that demo I do not twitch and I died alot when he came up beside me. Which are 2 major points that wouldn't happen if I was ratbotting/aimbotting.
These are also 2 major points that most hackers know about and can make slight adjustments to minimize the obvious. There are many people that play this game that do use hacks and many of them have been around for awhile. I have said it many times in the past that hackers tend to flock together just like any other social rejects.
The fact that I might get banned for something I didn't do is completely stupid.
You won't get banned for cheating unless jitspoe's cheat detection hits on you. It might not happen for a little while but it will happen if you use an aimbot. There are many who think they haven't been caught but are still waiting on the committee to hash things out.
You will get a ban for not handing over a demo when asked for it. Take it as a learning experience. If you match in the clan scene then keep your demos (for 2 weeks at least). The ban will not be to long but if you do come up on the cheat detection later for using an aimbot or anything similar you will get a longer ban for it being your second offense. The choice is yours. If you have nothing to hide then just serve a short ban and drive on.
-
But, if you see me in that demo
Well, I really want to see you in your demo :)
It is strange that he at first wanted me to allow him to chasecam me and then doesn´t even have a demo. What is the point in monitoring someone without recording a demo? And why did he try to diss me before thinking about posting a demo? If he could prove his innocence, wouldn´t it be better for his own sake to do that than just complaining about my repetitiveness(and spamming LMAO)?
IE
EDIT: Sorry, forgot a "t" ::)
-
i delete all my demo's after a while. theres no point in keeping them if you arent asked for one right away. i have ocd though so all that clutter in my demo folders bugs me :)
-
i delete all my demo's after a while.
Key point.
-
on my 15 year old computer. So youre right I dont run paintball smoothly
A 15 year old computer should hardly be able to run Paintball at all, and if your PC somehow manages to do it, your lag must be even bigger than mine - that makes it impossible for you to kill me at the moments I already mentioned because you clearly didn't line there.
i delete all my demo's after a while. theres no point in keeping them if you arent asked for one right away.
I started this topic the day after the match and Henrod requested the demo on the same day. I don't think there is somebody who deletes his demos after one day because then there would be no need to record demos at all, or?
IE
-
if im not asked for a demo in the match or directly after the match then theres a 80% chance id have deleted it within a few hours. and this case might be different but i dont think jitspoe or the committee should be able to do anything if the demo wasnt asked for instantly. i mean if you think the persons hacking why wait? and why is there no clear cut rule about demo requests, its just one big gray area.
-
i mean if you think the persons hacking why wait?
I just had not enough time to do it earlier.
IE
-
Do you have the beginning of the demo to at least prove that you recorded it and cut it short? Rocky's argument seems kind of pointless, as even if you stop recording, the demo file will still exist, so you'll still have a bunch of files to sort through.
-
What's the ban time for no providing a demo?
-
Yes jitspoe I have the start of it I'll post I just have to find it.
wyZe
-
Here it is.
wyZe
-
Oops, that might have been the wrong one. Here is the other one. There is 2 because a bit into the match I lagged out and had to reboot.
wyZe

This demo says nothing. He might have edited it with KeyGrip 2 to make it look like he stopped the recording. You don´t think this is possible? It is. Watch the demo I attached to this post and you will see.
IE

or just accept that people have good shots every once in a while
-
He stopped his demo, plenty of people do it. I mean, it CAN seem suspicious to some people, but even in your demo theres no points that look like he used an aimbot. So in my opinion it's not something the committee should waste looking into, although they really can't look into anymore. What more information can you get? Nothing detected, Demos show no proof, thus the obvious resultant of nothing happens.
-
The whole argument here could have been properly avoided IF he would have gave that as proof from the start.

The committee has to look into things like this. Threads like these are a perfect example of time wasting. It could have been avoided, Wyze wouldn't feel that everyone is against him, and some of us could save a minute not responding to these threads if people like this would simply comply when asked. I agree nothing looks suspicious but the whole demo stopping story seemed out there.
-

True.

Even if you stop it very quickly there will be a .dm2 file?!??!??!
Plenty of idiots then.
-
I want a new rule. You don't stop the demo. You keep demos up to a week, incase it gets requested. After that, do what you want. Therefore theres time to request a demo, but its not hogging space on your prehistoric harddrive.

you got my vote!
I checked my demo map and found out that the biggest demo's I have have are approx. 1,5mb (for those with a prehistoric harddrive... 3,5 inch floppy disks would do the job ;) ). This means with playing 5 matches a day, you would need an average 50mb to be kept free.
Don't try to tell me that your computer can not handle this!

Agreed. Set up the poll! I already had a case where I asked the demo the and th person said he "STOPPED" the demo. What's the ban time if someone fails to provide a demo?
-
What's the ban time if someone fails to provide a demo?
Banning someone for not having a demo might be a bit harsh. If you have someone you don't like, you just make forumposts until you find a match where he doesn't have a demo of.
However, I do think there should be more possibilities for the commitee to ban someone if there are enough suspicious moments on other demo's provided about this player. I just fear there won't be enough understanding from the community for such a decision.
Let's put up a vote
-
Banning someone for not having a demo might be a bit harsh.
This is something you need to check on. Apparently, this is what happens if a demo is requested by the committee and the player does not comply. We have always said anyone should be able to request a demo from anyone as long as it is within reason. If the average player requests a demo and does not get one by the accused all they will do is go to the committee and cry until the committee makes a formal request which if denied results in a ban. It boils down to the same thing I think. We should have a set standard here for demos. Especially in the match scene.
-
Hey man, how can you have a 15 year old computer running Windows XP?
-
And for jimmy post, sometime into one server when guy change map , only the previous map is save in dm2 file. So that can be a problem for me.
