Title: paintball2 takes all CPU? What Should i do

i have problem. i have windows 7 and 2gb ram. intel celeron 2.40GhZ cpu. when i launch paintball2, it takes all cpu . and its very laggy.please help

ctrl-alt-delete >> taskmanager >> run >> msconfig then click selective startup  and de-select load startup items. reboot.

just downgrade back to xp. i had the same problem before i had vista then installed win 7. everything performs great exept for gaming. or just buy a video card.

Windows 7 and XP use about the same amount of resources, so that shouldn't affect it at all.

windows 7 takes more ram and cpu usage

my graphic card is ati hd4650 1gb memory
and when i browse the internet, cpu usage is 02% so but when i launch something wich need DirectX it goes 100%????? Why? is my motherboard going broken becouse its old and i have many problems with it

If it's eating up too much CPU, try setting cl_sleep to 1 and/or gl_swapinterval 1.  If it's laggy, make sure you have the latest video drivers installed (download them from the manufacturer site NOT windows update - windows drivers don't handle OpenGL properly), and that you don't have any processes in the background eating up CPU.

yeah now i know it was compination of windows aero and non-fullscreen paintball 2 what makes it laggy
