But that is the most necessary acquired skill... How do you expect to win without knowing when, where, and how to do that?

I can try to help you, I've helped alot of players get better, but Im not as active as I use to be. So you will have to catch me when im on.

try to join some clan like lawl or BaZ they always recruit new ppls to clan ;)
and join mIRC =P ... dotn play on speeds but on publicks like lawl etc... u also could watch some movies ... and on private u could try to jump which are already taken in youtube ....

Yeah, you can join it...if it was like 2 years ago before it (the most famous training clan in DP. Evar.) retired.
There might be a modern equivalent, but I'm not really sure who might be running a dedicated training clan.

Its just that alot of players didnt want to be considered a b-team or training team type player. Even though they was. So alot of those clans didnt last.

I apparently will be doing this all myself just to get some fresh blood into the community. We will try to accommodate both North American and European players. My active days will be Wednesday through Saturday night. Feel free to come check us out tonight around 9:00pm mt.

For those of you who never been around InT, remember we try to promote the growth of new players. M7 had a set of values that I highly respected about cheaters and idiots. InT needs 1 or 2 more well established players to help the new ones. InT will try to match as often as possible to help new players understand the basic principals of the match scene. The goal is not to win but to provide a platform for those wanting to jump into a more serious relationship with dp. This takes a lot of time working in private servers to teach players all of the basics, such as strafing, dj, and how to use irc/voice. If you don't mind losing a lot of matches and spending some of your free time working with others, no matter how hard headed they are, then look me up. Official kick off is tonight. See ya'll there.

I understand the goals and what is required in order to join the InT clan. I'm willing to offer my free time to teach and train new players, as well as provide helpful tips during matches. I've been known to flame during many matches, but I'm positive I can keep a cool head and set a good example to the new players arriving in the clan scene.
I'll be on the IRC channel at 8pm BST, got my paper-round in the morning though, so will be going bed early. :P

Welcome home!!!! You have regained your rightful throne. Our vent info is on the irc channel. We have a good base of descent players, now let the noob feeding frenzy (read: new player recruitment) begin.

I have been on for a couple of hours a night the last few nights. But the reality has changed. There is no longer a consistent North American pub presence. Some times you have to sit in a server a while to get even a few people in a pub.
This doesn't bode well for any future clan activity.

And it will probably drop down further more. Unfortunatelly, game engine is far to obsolete to attract new people in while other free games are using newer engines and free games are looking better and better. Go back couple of decades ago, would you play wolfenstein or quake if you had both games for free for online playing?
Having 50% of clan scene banned and assuming other 30% are using hacks does not do anything good for revival of match scene aswell.
But anyway, good luck, I allways supported Int and will do in the future.

I would have been on but my wife had surgery on my weekend. It kinda killed the weekend playing for me. I'll be on every night Weds - Saturday.
