loial, That is the pseudo server that the ETG services is running on. It is like a linked IRC server for services only. It's not a server that anyone can connect to but the services form a link to the IRC network just like any other linked IRC server and someone likes the name I think. If I am wrong someone please correct me. I operate an IRCX server which is similar to the software that ETG uses.

Also, why when I ues jitspoe's java irc client am being directed there instead  of dp channel?

I just tried the java client, and it went straight into #paintball like it should.
