After installing b16 I went out and played on indune and had a good ole time.
Last night I went to play some pub and Hillside was loaded. I entered the game and everything was fine. When the round started I pickup my stuff, and heade out of the base going the main way. I went under the first wall and just about the time I go to the first box DP crashed. After several reconnects I found that every time I reached that exact same spot DP crashed.
And DP also crashed when I was in obs, before I spawned on a fresh connection, the moment someone capped a flag....it went "Ooooh Yeeeahh" DONK (crash).
The error is basically "Could not write to aaddress x00000000" or something there of..all adresses in the error are zeros and it's a "could not write to" error.
I loaded up B15 and there were no such errors.
So i'm not sure if it's the map, or the software at this point. Will have to test more.

Is it 100% repeatable, even after a reboot?? ??? ??? ???

Thanks for the bug report. I'll take a look at it and see if I can reproduce it.

Which hillside was it? Hillside.bsp doesn't have boxes.
Edit: If it's hillside3, it might have something to do with the reflective water. Right behind those boxes is some water. It didn't crash for me, though.
-
Hillside 3 build 16, the water there cause nauseating lag.

Hillside3
r_reflectiveware crahes it
crashes on all maps with reflective water
turn reflective water off and no crashes

Hm, what drivers are you using? It works fine on my 7800GT. Try installing the full version to a different directory and see if it still crashes.
