I've played on default (90) for 6 years now and never experimented with other FOV's.
Which FOV do you prefer and why?

Anyway I have normally fov 140 and for long range shots and switchhand I have fov 85.
I like the higher fov because I have better view and it looks like I'm moving faster :P.

How long did it take you to adjust to fov 140?

i have been usin fov 140 since i have high ping cause its a bit more easy to hit then and jumpig is also good .... actualy i think fov 120-130 is the best bt i had no other choice :) aaaaaaand .. i switch to 50 .... but in big maps with open areas i change fov to 130 ...

I like the higher fov because I have better view...

I use fov 140. I also have a bind "mwheeldown fov 100" and then "mwheelup 140". I use the fov 140 because i think it helps me jump better, and it looks like im faster, and it's easier to see everything around you. I switch to the lower fov, when im on a map like airtime, or shock, or something where you line a lot, or it is hard to see people because their far away.

Sounds great, I had the same idea, but I've bound mwheelup/down to throwing grenades and i'm already used to that.

Try to play with One fov and train it, dont try to use 1XXX fov it wont help you.

I have monitor with 1920x1080 resolution, and i use FOV 145. When FOV is smaller then i don't see gun xD

Yeah, I tried experimenting with different FOV's and went from 90 to:
100 Shooting
110 Jumping
Which FOV is the overall best once well trained?

switched from 90 to 93 cause of a new resolution

110 is what olbaid and i have been using for several years. that there should be enough to use fov 110 always - jumping and shooting.

Just wanted to know what the preferred Field Of View is for most of you :)
Mine is: 125 but I use 50 to zoom in a little some times

i got a 16:9 monitor so i use 110...
when i used a 5:4 monitor i used 90...
I just look for the full modelview and then i got it!
5:4=~90
4:3=90
16:10=~100
16:9=110
When im jumping i maybe add 10 or 20 to the my default value...

When I first started using a non-default FOV I used 120 and it worked wonders for both my aim and my jumping. After some time I noticed my accuracy declining so I switched back to 90. It did wonders for my aim but my jumping became horrible. I've gone back and forth between 90 and 100 since and both my aim and jumping suck, but my jumping is worse.

Depending on my screen...
If i play on my FullHD i use 110...
If i play on both screens (1920x1080 + 1280x1024) i use 140...
I just use that fov that is needed for full viewmodel fov...
