Post by: Hisgun on June 02, 2010, 06:40:38 PM
I checked this forum from Jan. and don't see this question so, Can this game play on Windows 98?  If so does anyone have a link to where I can download it for Windows 98?

Thanks.

In theory, it should.  I haven't tested it recently, though.  You'll need the appropriate OpenGL drivers and a hardware accelerated video card.

yea i doubt the video card would even handle it. if you would even call it a video card.

Hisgun  you do realise your system have huge secuity holes that are never going to be fixed.

Do your self a favour

www.ubuntu.com

or

http://pclinuxos.com/  (even easier - 3d and everything works out the box)

They are free and were built in the last decade (last year even..)

Really you need 512MB Ram / 600+ Ghz CPU to run ubuntu/pclinuos if you have less than that there is lubuntu  - if you have at least a geforce 2 paintball will run o.k

Although I agree with your comment towards the poster above you capOne, he could still use one of the free operating systems out there. They Ubuntu would be great. Easy to use and has a large support base.
