Title: Feature Request: Minimap on HUD

Hi,
what about a "minimap" which shows you an overview about the map. Maybe in a little window below on the right.

hasn't this already been done? It's in the newer builds when starting a new game. (not joining a game)

Maybe you mean to add also the screenshots from directory \mapshots on screen when joining a server?

Pretty sure he means in-game, like in UrT or CS or CoD4 etc.

Yes, I mean in game. And the most maps haven't got a screenshot.

I think he means like a mini-map screenshot that appears at a corner or pops up whenever you trigger it. Like a GPS or a map like most games have.

My response was rather to this part.
As far as it goes for radar/gps-alike stuff, or a map of paths or something - this is totally useless and unnecessary. How would you mark all the jumps? Who would make such a map?

Hmm...I would like to see something like this when the map loads, but I don't need it while playing.

Maybe you don't, but this could be really helpful for newbies. Perhaps a command to hide it? cl_radar 0 or something.
