Im not sure if its really a big deal, but while using the new build, everytime i go to the console, my fps will go from 77 to somewhere between 40-50.  I like the look of the console, but is it really that neccesary to be so demanding on your video card?

Is it really necessary to have a high framerate when you're looking at the console? :)

not neccesarily, but ive never seen anything like that before.  In my experience it always goes higher...
with the new console as well, is there a way to revert back to the old, like is there a cvar for it?  If not its not a big deal, but someone may wonder in the future if it happens to them.

You can delete pball/scripts/console.txt, and I think it will revert to the old one.
