Title: Tweak: Speedlimit for tripping
Post by: T3RR0R15T on January 01, 2011, 04:05:19 PM
Add a tripping_limit setting to set an individual limit before it will stop you.

It's a good way to get rid of the pros from servers that are intended for newcomers.

Edit: I thought that tripping was only a falling down thing and that you were suggesting tripping from strafe jumping as well, but it already works that way. Still, I'm all for increasing the limit since it makes the feature more viable to use.

+1, or maybe something that limits the top speed of which you can go on ice. Like saying how "slick" it is.

NO, it would break many jump maps.

Paintball2 is not a jump mod.

Whether or not it will break jump maps, this is a horrible idea. I can't believe so many people gave a +1

This is only a wish to add a setting (to set an individual limit). The limit already exist, but it is hardcoded.

If this is going to break maps with ice in it, no thanks.
