If a server has set the sv_minclientbuild setting higher than the clients build is, the client gets this message as reason that he can not play on that server:
New version available: http://www.digitalpaint.org/
The reason is wrong. The sv_minclientbuild setting is the reason, not a new version. Please change it to something like this:
You need build XX (or higher) to play on this server.
Get the newest build from http://www.digitalpaint.org/
XX = Server's sv_minclientbuild value.

Oh yes, +1 , and also make link clickable or display big message with link... Noobs don't know what to do until they doesn't have link to click -.-

I think the length of the message was really limited. Ultimately, I'd like to pop up a dialog on the client with a button to download the latest version. I might be able to make it more descriptive, though.

Anything better than the current message saying that you need a higher build is an improvement. I got confused the first time I saw that message on [OTB] Servers, so imagine what it would be like for newbies :P

Why is almost everything limited... ?
Isn't it possible, that we get all the messages like this directly from the client? That the server only needs to sent "msg 123" and the client shows the (long) text message in the console?
Edit: Sounds a bit, like you want to do it. The server sends "show popup 123" and the client opens the file.
No feature vote link means, the popup will be in the next build? If yes, thanks :)

Yeah, we could take that error message and display a more detailed message on the client. That's the plan. :)

Can you please add a vote for this?

The message is limited to 64 characters, so I can't do the string you suggested.
