is there a possible way to disable the sounds after something happens, 'you killed kenny' 'meep meep' etc.. and just leave the noise of movement and shooting on? would be easier to play whilst listening to music rather than listening to 'oh nana whats your meep meep'

Theoretically I'd say to just delete the annoying files from your DP2 folder, I don't know whether this is considered modified content though...
-
haha Mara u forgot the claps :D
yep 2many <3 :D

i tryed deleting the death sounds, but as soon as i rejoined the server they were all redownloaded =D there should be an option like the Grunt noise option, but to decide whether to have these stupid sounds on =/ don't really see why that would be accounted as modified content.. its more like giving myself a disadvantage without the noise of the flag caps etc..
-
you can disable "downloads" in the multi player setup ;)
-
but this stops the maploads too.. for example he cant load new maps and if he turns it on again, he has to delete ''the annoying noises'' ,which will be downloaded with the new map, again... or am i wrong?
-
nah your right, but i found out how to =D just disable 'downloads' then go to your pball folder > sounds > then delete 'deaths' 'end' 'start' or whatever else you dont want to hear :d
-
Just disable sound downloads (in multiplayer setup, like pvtjimmy said) and everything is fine.
-
that didn't work for me unfortunetely =/
