Title: What really irks me

When the team is still inside the base and someone decides to set off all the smoke grenades and nobody can see ANYTHING next thing you know the other team tosses in a paint grenade and we have lost  i have witnessed this countless times and it never gets any less irritating.

especially on jump maps

Now I know I am not the only one annoyed by this action. I have wondered what strategy does a team think they have smoking their own base? Makes it a simple kill for the other team, plus if the other team has a base camper on your side the smoke will make it impossible to find them.

its even worse when instead of leaving the base they just stay idle until the smoke grenades respawn and then throw them again totally pointless

kind of makes you wish friendly fire was disabled. I would so shoot my own team players for doing that.

The answer to this is simple. 9 times out of the 10 they throw smoke to pick up a paint grenade.  If people would learn to use the drop button instead of just tossing it in their own base this matter could be resolved.

god i love tossing a paint gren at a bunch of newbs running around in smoke like chickens with no heads
